Sharing What Works

2 Sep

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.  -Margaret Mead

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.  - Jesus

Omaha and Lincoln area youth ministry leaders have planned an event for Sunday, September 18th called Knock Out Hunger.  Registration opens at 1:00, and knock out begins at 2:00 at the Kids Against Hunger Warehouse in Omaha (13409 I Circle).
.
Participants will pack thousands of meals for Kids Against Hunger AND will try to set a Guinness World Record for the most people playing a game of knock out.
.
Can you attend and invite others to go with you?  The world record that the planners were trying to break was 167, but they just learned that this record was broken in April.  It is now set at 379!
.
Please help by inviting youth and young adults (middle school age on up) to attend.  Find out more and register by clicking here.
