Every 3 years the ELCA holds a Youth Gathering. Thousands of high school youth from all over the country attend, and the next one will be in New Orleans in 2012..
During the years between the ELCA Youth Gatherings, the Nebraska Synod sponsors a mission trip for high school youth.
