Youth Mission Trip
In June 2011 nearly 350 high school youth and their adult leaders traveled to Denver for the Nebraska Synod Youth Mission Trip.
Busses picked people up all across Nebraska, and they stayed at Colorado Christian University where they set out each day to to live out the week’s theme of “SOLID”–Serving Our Lord In Denver.
Participants painted houses, led a Vacation Bible School, cleaned a food pantry, sorted clothing and shoes at ARC thrift stores, weeded yards, dug holes for a fence, boxed clothing to send to developing nations, packed 50,000 meals for Kids Against Hunger, sewed and assembled 113 school kits for Lutheran World Relief and so much more.
